A Post Shower Necessity for Dry, Itchy, and Sensitive Skin: Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion Review
To be totally honest, I’ve never been good at remembering to moisturize my body. There are a couple rare days a month that I do moisturize to combat the occasional dryness or itchiness, but aside from that, it’s just something I normally forget to do in my routine. Or maybe it’s just that I haven’t found the perfect lotion yet. All the ones I’ve tried in the past have either irritated my skin or left a greasy finish that was way too uncomfortable to deal with.
I tend to moisturize right after showering and before I hop into bed, and unfortunately, a lot of formulas tend to take forever to fully absorb. That’s why I was so excited to finally try the highly loved and award-winning Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion! It’s known for its fast-absorbing, non-sticky texture that’s low-irritant (perfect for my sensitive skin) and highly moisturizing at the same time. Their formula is free of parabens, mineral oil, pigments, and fragrance, making it totally safe and suitable for all skin types, even babies!

My Experience:
Price and Packaging (4/5)
Illiyoon’s Ceramide Ato Lotion comes in a variety of sizes. I picked up the 350ml version that usually sells for about $20-$25 depending on the retailer. As someone who slathers on loads of lotion all over my arms, legs, and body, I wish this was just a tad bit cheaper because I’m almost halfway done with the bottle and it’s only been a month. Don’t get me wrong though, I will forever repurchase this because of how much my skin loves it!
Packaging wise, this is very simple and functional. It comes in such a cute plump bottle with a pump that allows you to conveniently dispense an even amount of product each time. It’s also designed as a double-sided container that prevents airflow to help you get every last drop of lotion out of the pump. Super innovative!
Texture and Scent (5/5)
The lotion has an extremely light, almost gel-like watery consistency. It gives off a nice refreshing sensation upon application and absorbs into the skin fairly quickly without leaving any greasy or tacky residue behind. I actually have their Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream too and you can physically see the little encapsulated ceramide capsules that burst once you massage it into the skin. Both the Lotion and Cream also have no fragrance at all.

This lotion is advertised for both the face and body, but I like to use it as my post shower body lotion. I have pretty sensitive, eczema prone skin as well and this lotion does wonders for me. Not only does it moisturize, but it also helps calm and soothe my skin whenever I’m experiencing flare ups. If you’re someone with combination/oily skin, you might also enjoy using this as a night time moisturizer because its light consistency sinks right into the skin so effortlessly without leaving any leftover film or tackiness.
Final Thoughts:
Illiyoon’s Ceramide Ato Lotion has slowly become a staple in my daily routine. It’s no frill, effective, and relatively affordable compared to other western brands out there. So if you’re looking for a simple, daily moisturizer that will hydrate and soothe irritated and sensitive skin, then this is the one for you!
