Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water Review - M Review 103
Cleansing is one of the most important parts of any skincare routine, and investing in products for a proper "double cleanse" has been my philosophy in achieving clean and healthy skin. I love using cleansing oils or balms as my first step and part of my double cleansing method. Aside from cleansing oils and balms, I’ve come across many cleansing waters during my skincare hauls but haven’t gotten around to trying them. So, I decided to test out the Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water and see how it compares.
The Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water claims to be infused with 70% tea tree leaf water and tea tree leaf oil to mildly cleanse the skin and leave the skin feeling refreshed and calmed. Personally, having combination-oily sensitive skin, tea tree works well balancing my oils and soothing any irritation I may have. Tea tree is also a great ingredient for those that are prone to breakouts and acne with its anti-inflammatory properties. I also appreciate the minimal ingredient list - with only 10 ingredients and no added fragrance. Those looking for vegan-friendly and clean beauty products, you may enjoy the simplicity of this cleansing water
The texture of the cleansing water is just that - watery! The cleansing water was able to remove the BB cream that I wear daily. Putting it up against a lip tint, it was able to remove a good amount of it but not completely - in this case I would definitely recommend still going in with a second cleanse.
Overall, I definitely enjoyed using this cleansing water as it did what it claimed it would. It removed almost all the makeup and impurities I had on my skin without any irritation. My skin felt refreshed and soothed as well. I would definitely recommend this cleansing water to those with oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. However, I also recommend always going in with a second cleanse!
Until the next one,
