My hair has been one of my biggest insecurity for as long as I can remember. I have a hard time styling my hair because it grows stiff and spiky.
Growing up, I always used whatever shampoo was in the bathroom. I didn’t understand the importance of the conditioner, and I also never thought to carefully read the ingredients.
Masksheets recently added to their list of brands, NARD, a popular hair and body care brand trending in South Korea. I can tell just by the packaging alone that it grabs the attention of millennials because of its minimal branding and choice of color.
I tried the Himalaya Herb Nard Shampoo and Himalaya Herb Nard Repair Treatment.
First impressions are: wow, the bottle is BIG! The shampoo is a 1L bottle, almost triple the size of some regular shampoo bottles. This saves you the need to reorder shampoo and shower care every month or two! Another thing I noticed is the affordable price tag, for the size and use you’ll get out of it, it’s definitely cost effective.
At the first glance of the ingredient list, you’ll notice there are lots of oils and proteins.
- The major ingredients strengthen hair strands, promotes hair growth, and softens hair for a silky finish.
- Amino acids such as serine, valine, proline, and histidine improves the root of the hair.
- Oils such as macadamia oil, jojoba oil and sunflower seed oil soften and create thicker, fuller healthy hair.
After using both the shampoo and repair treatment, each individual strand of hair felt more robust. Nard Shampoo creates foam when massaged onto the head and thoroughly rinses the scalp and hair. Your hair will instantly feel more full and clean without stripping away oil. Using the repair treatment after shampooing is comparable to a conditioner. It separates each strand of hair and repairs damaged hair, making it silky and untangled.
For a shampoo and conditioner at this price, I would not have expected so many nourishing ingredients. It works for any and all hair concerns such as hair loss, hair thinning, damaged hair, split ends, and so much more. My scalp and hair feels strengthened after just a few use!
