ISNTREE Clear Skin 8% AHA Essence - M Review 108
Wanted to share a review of the ISNTREE Clear Skin 8% AHA Essence that has been amazing for my skin lately! I've been using it 4-5 times per week nightly for about 3 weeks and can honestly attest to its effectiveness in keeping my skin smooth and clear, with occasional but very minimal amount of breakouts that also heal super fast! NEW Holy Grail?!
It contains glycolic acid (4%) and lactic acid (4%) to gently but effectively sweep away dead skin cells to reveal smoother and brighter skin. Glycolic acid has the smallest molecular size of any alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), meaning it gets absorbed deeply and quickly to help get rid of rough skin on the surface. Lactic acid is a gentler AHA with hydrating properties, preventing your skin from feeling dry. Together, they form this potent little essence that not only does not irritate my skin, but effectively helps maintain a smooth and clear complexion, all while keeping it moisturized. Although I can't really attest to this, regular use of AHAs is also proven to help improve signs of aging, fading hyperpigmentation and softening fine lines and wrinkles overtime.
The formula also contains botanical extracts like Morus Alba Bark, Centella Asiatica, Aloe Vera, and Portulaca Oleracea to soothe and minimize irritation. Sodium hyaluronate helps hydrate as well. It's free of potentially harmful substances like parabens, artificial fragrance, alcohol, silicone, and mineral oil, making it a great choice for sensitive skin. It has a very watery consistency that gets absorbed fast with no residue.
Ever since falling in love with the Pixi Glow Tonic with 5% glycolic acid, I knew AHA was the way to go for me! It actually works better than BHA for my breakouts. I love this one's higher concentration of AHA and the convenient pump, taking care of breakouts while hydrating and shortening my routine.
Totally loving & recommending this product to anyone! Start slow if you're not used to acids yet, & make sure to always wear SPF! Do you use acids too??
